MARY JOY- VOCALIST/ SONGWRITER

Singer songwriter Mary Joy has lead a varied musical life, from jazz funk days at Ronnie Scotts and the Jazz Cafe with Maxi Jazz (Faithless), through Drum and Bass projects with the Ganja Kru, Dance tracks with Mutiny UK and touring as the live vocalist for Chicane. You will also have heard her on T.V and Radio adverts using her classical vocal skills. Working mainly as a session vocalist Mary Joy has also penned many tracks for herself and is currently broadening her appeal by co-writing projects for other artists.

Back in the studio now after taking time off to create a family Mary Joy is set to return in style with co-productions including tracks on 7-Hurtz' new album "Electroleum", a re-release of 'Rainbow's End' through a Sunflower records/Ashley Beadle collaboration, 4 tracks on the USA album GII's 'Return of the Redline Evangelist' plus solo outings such as an electro funk project produced by Cargo Head's Si Hulbert and 'the' urban classical album "Horizon Tall" where you will hear the full extent of Mary Joy's awesome vocal talents.
